Commercial Finance Manager – Part‑Time (3 days/week)

About the role

This part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position offers an experienced finance professional the chance to influence a growing UK business. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team, providing strategic insight and hands‑on support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Deliver insightful analysis to highlight trends, risks and commercial opportunities.
• Partner with senior leaders to support strategic and operational decisions.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, debtors and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Drive cost‑management initiatives and improve cash generation.
• Oversee a small finance team of two, providing development and guidance.
• Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions when required.

Required profile

• Proven senior commercial finance management experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and management‑reporting expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management and the confidence to influence senior leaders.
• Experience in an international or matrix‑managed organisation is advantageous.
