Commercial Finance Manager – Technology & Telecoms

About the role

As a Commercial Finance Manager within a leading global telecommunications and technology organisation, you will drive financial planning and analysis to support strategic business decisions. You will work closely with senior leaders to ensure the company’s financial health and to identify growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Executive Leadership Team members to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision‑making.
• Lead the preparation of complex business cases, investment proposals and strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis, modelling and recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long‑term planning processes across the group.
• Analyse business performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operational teams to evaluate risks, opportunities and growth initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes and commercial finance practices.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial finance, FP&A or business‑partnering role within a complex organisation.
• Strong experience developing business cases, financial models and investment proposals.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including Executive Leadership Teams.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience supporting strategic decision‑making.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, confident engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment.
