Commercial Freight Executive

About the role

Our client, an established freight forwarder based in Sunbury-on-Thames, is seeking a Commercial Freight Executive to join their commercial team. The role focuses on freight management, data accuracy, pricing support and continuous improvement across sea, air, road and rail transport services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customer freight quotations and deliver timely, accurate pricing solutions.
• Support tender responses and ad‑hoc pricing requests.
• Maintain internal rate procurement and ensure pricing accuracy within the freight management system, including system costings and client rate cards.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement opportunities across commercial and operational workflows.
• Assist in developing company products and gateway services, create schedules and support consolidation management activities.

Required profile

• Commercially driven mindset with a focus on supporting business strategy and growth.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a commercial team.
• Interest in developing expertise in air and sea freight.
