Commercial Gas Engineer – South East

About the role

We are seeking a fully qualified Commercial Gas Engineer with F‑Gas certification to join a fast‑growing engineering business delivering temporary heating and cooling solutions to commercial clients across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain commercial boilers, chillers and associated plant.
• Carry out fault‑finding and diagnostics on chilled‑water systems, AHUs and burner systems.
• Support pipework modifications and plant‑room upgrades.
• Attend emergency call‑outs on a rota basis, providing swift and safe solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with gas safety, F‑Gas and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Commercial Gas Safe qualification (essential).
• F‑Gas refrigeration certification (essential).
• Level 3 mechanical qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial heating, cooling or building‑services engineering.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Required skills

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of commercial boilers and chillers.
• Fault‑finding on chilled‑water systems, AHUs and burner systems.
• Understanding of LTHW systems, BMS controls and pipework.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving ability.
