Commercial Insurance Account Handler

About the role

Arkwright Insurance is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial clients across diverse industries. You will act as the primary point of contact, delivering expert advice and a high‑quality service throughout the insurance lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, handling renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business enquiries.
• Obtain competitive quotations, present suitable solutions and support policy administration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and internal Account Executives.
• Provide a proactive, responsive customer experience and ensure full FCA compliance.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance, preferably as an Account Handler or similar role.
• Good knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider market.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as a CII certification are advantageous but not essential.
