About the role
This hybrid position is with a dynamic insurance broker based in Croydon. You will join a modern office environment, receive comprehensive training and work alongside a supportive team. The role focuses on managing both existing and new commercial SME client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales and customer enquiry calls
- Produce and issue quotations and new‑business documentation
- Assist customers in protecting their material assets and liabilities
- Follow up and convert leads, making outbound calls as needed
- Achieve individual and team sales targets
- Grow income from existing customers
- Maintain positive relationships with insurers and underwriters
- Develop a thorough understanding of all products and services to support customers
Required profile
- At least one year of general insurance experience
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of FCA requirements, including Treating Customers Fairly
- Good understanding of the UK insurance market
