Commercial Laundry Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Laundry Engineer to join a nationwide laundry service provider that is expanding rapidly across the North West. The role involves travelling to client sites to service and maintain a range of commercial laundry and catering equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and preventative maintenance on commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, rotary irons, finishing machines, dishwashers and dosing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and gas‑fired laundry equipment.
• Cover client locations within the CA and LA postcode areas, including hospitals, nursing homes, hotels and holiday parks.
• Participate in a rotating on‑call rota, typically one weekend in five.

Required profile

• Living in or near the LA or CA postcode area on the Scottish borders.
• Good electrical competency.
• Gas certification (or willingness to obtain training).
• Experience with commercial catering or dishwashing equipment is an advantage.
