Commercial Litigation Solicitor (NQ) – Salford

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join our Commercial Litigation team in Salford. This junior position offers immediate exposure to high‑quality commercial disputes and the chance to develop your legal expertise alongside experienced partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and advise on a range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder and director conflicts, professional negligence, commercial fraud, debt recovery and injunctive relief.
• Handle High Court litigation and support alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
• Work closely with senior lawyers on complex matters while gradually taking ownership of your own caseload.
• Maintain regular client contact and develop strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Recently qualified as a solicitor or due to qualify shortly.
• Completed at least one commercial litigation seat during your training contract.
• Strong technical ability, excellent attention to detail and high‑quality drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Genuine interest in commercial dispute resolution and a proactive attitude.
• Confident interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
