Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Facades & Cladding

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a rapidly growing contractor specialising in façade and cladding packages. The role offers hybrid working across office, home and site environments.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the commercial performance of the division’s contract portfolio, managing both supply‑chain and client‑facing obligations.
• Lead the commercial aspects of live contracts, handling applications for payment, variations and extensions of time with clients and subcontractors.
• Drive the monthly CVR cycle, presenting commentary and answering questions from senior management and the Board.

Required profile

• Minimum five years post‑qualification experience as a quantity surveyor at senior level.
• Contractor‑side experience, preferably within the façade, cladding or specialist envelope sector.
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contract forms and experience managing applications, variations and extensions of time.
• Proven ability to manage the full commercial cycle from contract award to final account on both client and supply‑chain sides.
• Experience producing and presenting CVR reports to senior stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence.
