About the role

As a Commercial Motor Claims Handler you will join an award‑winning brokerage in Leeds, supporting a diverse portfolio of motor insurance clients across sectors such as distribution, construction and retail. You will manage a caseload of motor claims, developing expertise in handling both routine and complex loss situations while delivering the high‑service standards the broker is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, investigate and settle motor insurance claims from a range of commercial clients.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate claim status to clients and internal teams.
• Negotiate with third parties and service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Collaborate with legal partners on mock trials and other training initiatives.
• Continuously develop knowledge of motor insurance products and industry regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience handling motor claims, gained in broking, insurance or legal environments.
• Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner when dealing with distressed clients.
• Natural problem‑solver with curiosity and negotiation ability.
• Commitment to delivering excellent client service.
