Commercial Operations Manager

About the role

We are partnering with an established manufacturing business to find a Commercial Operations Manager who will lead multiple customer‑facing and commercial support functions. This senior leadership role focuses on driving operational excellence, improving processes, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop commercial support teams, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Coordinate collaboration between sales, customer service, technical and operational departments.
• Oversee and optimise commercial processes to boost efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor pricing strategies and commercial performance to ensure competitive decision‑making.
• Implement process improvements, automation and system enhancements.
• Coach and mentor team leaders and their teams.
• Own sales forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis to support business planning.
• Use CRM and business intelligence data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives and support wider transformation projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading commercial operations, internal sales or customer‑service teams.
• Proven ability to develop high‑performing teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with solid financial awareness.
• Experience improving business processes, systems and operational efficiency.
