About the role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Projects Solicitor to join a leading national law firm’s Projects team in Oxfordshire. The role offers exposure to high‑value commercial contracts and strategic projects across public and private sectors, with genuine progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and structure complex commercial agreements and major project contracts.
- Manage matters from instruction through to completion, delivering pragmatic, commercially‑focused advice.
- Mentor junior lawyers and support business‑development initiatives.
- Contribute to the growth and success of the Projects team.
Required profile
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 10 years post‑qualification experience.
- Extensive experience advising on complex commercial projects, preferably with public‑sector clients.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Commitment to business development.
Required skills
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of Model Services Contract and public procurement matters (advantageous).
- Security clearance (advantageous but not essential).
