Commercial Property Associate (NQ-3)

About the role

This position is for a Commercial Property Associate based in Southampton, working within a well‑established UK law firm. The role offers hybrid working and provides exposure to a broad portfolio of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, asset management and landlord‑tenant work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial property transactions from inception to completion, including acquisitions and disposals.
• Oversee asset‑management matters and advise landlord and tenant clients.
• Take ownership of client relationships and contribute to business‑development initiatives.
• Support complex strategic projects and collaborate with colleagues across other practice areas.
• Maintain a visible profile within the team and develop a personal caseload.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• Approximately three years post‑qualification experience (NQ‑3) in commercial property.
• Proven ability to manage matters with appropriate supervision.
• Strong communication, collaborative mindset and commercial focus.
• Genuine interest in career development within a supportive team.
