Commercial Property Claims Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Commercial Property Adjuster to join our existing team in Glasgow. The role involves handling a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption losses from initial assessment through to settlement. You will be responsible for detailed reporting, diary maintenance and delivering service within client SLAs.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption losses through to settlement.
• Prepare full and detailed reports for each site visit and maintain a comprehensive diary.
• Manage caseload to meet client SLAs and satisfy challenging audit criteria.
• Liaise proactively with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other parties to facilitate claim resolution.
• Provide recommendations for settlement based on investigation findings.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial property claims handling.
• Strong analytical and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and service standards.
• Proactive communication skills for interacting with insurers, policyholders and contractors.
