Commercial Property Lawyer – 2+ PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer with at least two years post‑qualification experience to join a progressive law firm in Chepstow, South Wales. The role offers autonomy, daily client interaction and clear progression within a modern commercial practice.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the sale and purchase of commercial property.
• Manage leases, renewals, searches and enquiries.
• Prepare detailed reports on property transactions.
• Conduct exchanges and completions independently.
• Collaborate with a property assistant to receive instructions, open files, prepare client care letters and liaise with clients.
• Participate in the firm’s marketing programmes to enhance client engagement.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years PQE in commercial property work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload with high autonomy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
• Strong organisational and IT skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and willing to initiate and lead projects.
