Commercial Property Solicitor

About the role

The Legists is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with at least four years PQE to join its growing Commercial Property team in Somerset. You will work with a high‑quality client base, handling a varied portfolio of commercial and agricultural property matters from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial property and agricultural transactions.
• Draft and negotiate leases, licences and other property agreements.
• Conduct due diligence, conveyancing and disposal work for commercial assets.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, and third‑party advisors to ensure smooth transaction progress.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local market.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in commercial property law.
• Experience gained in a national or regional law firm.
• Strong interest in business development and client relationship building.
• Ability to work independently and manage cases to successful conclusion.
