Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

About the role

A well‑established commercial law firm in Harrow is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support its property team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, asset management, landlord‑tenant matters, development work and banking deals.

Key responsibilities

• Draft legal documents, reports and correspondence for commercial property matters.
• Assist with transactions and due‑diligence, including Land Registry and SDLT applications.
• Conduct research on Land Registry, Companies House and other legal sources.
• Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties.
• Manage file opening, compliance and AML procedures.
• Prepare bills, completion statements and transaction documents.
• Maintain diaries, workflows and case‑management systems.
• Provide general administrative support to fee earners.

Required profile

• LLB or GDL/PGDL qualification.
• At least one year of paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Interest in commercial property law and ambition to qualify as a solicitor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using legal case‑management systems.
