Commercial Roofing Estimator – Birmingham

About the role

We are looking for an Estimator with experience in metal or flat commercial roofs and specialist building envelopes to join a growing specialist contractor. You will play a key role in producing accurate, competitive tenders and supporting commercial and project teams throughout the construction phase.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare competitive tender submissions, analyse drawings and specifications, and conduct site surveys.
• Conduct pre‑tender and pre‑contract façade surveys to assess condition, substrate, fixings and refurbishment requirements.
• Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors, clients, architects and structural engineers.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities, cost breakdowns, valuations, variations and final accounts.

Required profile

• Estimator or similar background with experience in metal and flat commercial roofs or specialist building envelopes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications and survey reports.
• Full UK driving licence.
