Commercial SME Account Handler – Hybrid – £30k-£35k

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial SME Account Handler to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients within a high‑performing team based in South Leeds. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to develop new business while delivering exceptional client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handle renewals, mid‑term adjustments and client queries.
• Identify new business and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal processes.
• Support team objectives and contribute to overall growth.

Required profile

• Experience in commercial insurance or broking.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
• Team‑player who works well in a collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with insurance systems such as Acturis (beneficial but not essential).
