Commercial Solicitor – 6+ PQE – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Commercial Solicitor with 6+ years post‑qualification experience to join our leading education law team in Leeds. You will advise universities, schools and educational charities on a wide range of commercial matters, including overseas campus agreements and joint ventures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercial legal advice to education sector clients.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, joint venture agreements and contracts for overseas university campuses.
• Support high‑profile projects across universities, schools and charities, both nationally and internationally.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years PQE handling commercial matters, preferably within the education sector.
• Demonstrated interest in specialising in education law.
• Strong technical legal expertise and a commercial mindset.
• Proactive, practical and collaborative approach to client work.
