Commercial Solicitor – Consultant

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced commercial solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The position offers full flexibility to work remotely or from the office, with a fee‑split arrangement that rewards revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of commercial law matters from inception to resolution.
• Provide expert legal advice and representation to professional and business clients.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory obligations and firm policies.
• Develop and nurture client relationships to achieve billing targets.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload independently.
• Existing client base capable of generating at least £100,000 annual billing.
• Desire to work autonomously within a supportive national firm.
