Commercial Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join our highly regarded firm in Central London. You will work closely with senior lawyers, advising a diverse client base that includes SMEs, fast‑growth businesses, and larger commercial organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Advise clients on technology, AI and data protection matters, including UK GDPR.
• Support corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions work.
• Work directly with clients to build long‑term relationships.
• Contribute to business development and networking activities.
• Mentor and support a paralegal within the team.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years’ post‑qualification experience.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts.
• Knowledge of technology, AI, data privacy and UK GDPR.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and working collaboratively.
• Experience in a City, national, boutique or in‑house environment is beneficial.
