Commercial Solicitor – Swindon

About the role

Our client, a well‑established law firm in Swindon, is looking for an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join their growing Commercial team. This role offers the chance to work on high‑quality matters across a diverse client portfolio and to develop commercially‑focused legal expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Provide advice on commercial risk, regulatory issues and compliance.
• Support clients in sectors such as technology, manufacturing and professional services.
• Assist with corporate transactions when required.
• Deliver clear, pragmatic commercial advice to key stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• 2+ years post‑qualification experience in commercial law (flexible for strong candidates).
• Solid experience in drafting and advising on commercial contracts.
• Strong analytical, drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage client expectations.
• Proactive, commercially‑focused mindset.
• Newly qualified solicitors with strong commercial seats will also be considered.
