About the role

Join a fast‑growing Managing General Agent (MGA) in the heart of London as a Commercial Underwriter, focusing on niche commercial property products delivered through a network of over 100 UK brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical underwriting support and deliver efficient case underwriting services to broker partners.
• Achieve income and profit targets while maintaining high levels of customer service.
• Develop and nurture relationships with intermediaries, encouraging new and existing business.
• Act as a referral point for cover holders and ensure accurate application of technical underwriting rates.

Required profile

• Solid underwriting experience, preferably with delegated authority schemes.
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of portfolio analysis, management and reporting.
• Proven ability to write commercial business and grow it from existing client relationships.
