Commis Chef

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our pub kitchen team in Ebbsfleet. You will help prepare and bring our menu items to life while developing your culinary skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, cooking and plating dishes according to the pub menu.
• Support the kitchen team with daily operations in a fast‑paced setting.
• Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
• Follow kitchen procedures, health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar chef or kitchen porter role, or a strong willingness to learn.
• Passion for food and a desire to develop culinary techniques.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Commitment to delivering hot food to specification each time.
