Commission‑Only Field Sales Partner – FinTech

About the role

Join a leading fintech brand as an independent Field Sales Partner, operating in your local area. You will build a personal business by acquiring merchants for SumUp’s payment solutions and earning uncapped commissions and recurring revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect local merchants who could benefit from SumUp’s card‑reader and software solutions.
• Present product features, pricing and value proposition in face‑to‑face meetings.
• Close contracts and secure upfront payments.
• Maintain a portfolio of active merchants and monitor transaction volume.
• Generate ongoing residual income by earning a percentage of merchants’ monthly transaction fees for up to five years.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets to maximise commission earnings.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to build a personal business.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently without a fixed salary.
• Proven sales competence and ability to close deals.
• Comfortable with a commission‑only compensation model.

Required skills

• 50% upfront commission on each new merchant contract (average £500 per merchant).
• 25% recurring commission on transaction volume for up to five years, with a 3× boost during the first three months.
