Communications and Charities Assistant

About the role

This 12‑month internship, based in Manchester, supports Manchester City’s Communications team in delivering stakeholder engagement, positive storytelling and charitable initiatives throughout the season.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and distributing corporate communications and fan‑facing content.
• Coordinate charitable requests, wish‑granting visits and ensure compliance with the club’s giving policy.
• Support media monitoring, reporting and the development of content for club channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver engaging community activities and events.

Required profile

• Passion for communications, community engagement and sport.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to address diverse audiences.
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Collaborative and proactive attitude within a team environment.
