About the role
Cambridge City Council is seeking a dynamic Communications and Engagement Support Officer to help shape the city’s narrative and connect with diverse audiences. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are central to delivering high‑impact public communications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging communication materials for residents, stakeholders and partners.
- Support the planning and execution of community engagement initiatives and events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Assist in managing digital platforms, social media content and website updates.
- Monitor audience feedback and provide insights to improve communication strategies.
Required profile
- Creative communicator with a passion for public engagement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, collaborative setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
