Communications Placement – Filton (12.5 months)

About the role

Start date 16 August 2027, 12.5‑month communications placement based in Filton, Bristol, offering hands‑on experience across internal communications, external relations, media and content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver internal communication campaigns and messaging for the workforce.
• Support local media relations, social media activity and community liaison.
• Write news stories, film and edit videos, and produce campaign materials.
• Design and execute end‑to‑end internal and external campaigns and events.

Required profile

• Undergraduate student for the full placement duration, with graduation date provided.
• Degree covering communication, marketing, PR, journalism, media, advertising or CSR.
• Strong written and spoken English and confidence contacting stakeholders.
• Interest in aerospace, manufacturing or R&T; technical savviness with standard IT tools.

Required skills

• Good written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with standard IT tools; photography or videography interest is a plus.
