Community Care Assistant (Driving Role)

About the role

This is both a driving and a care role, travelling between clients’ homes in the Bromley Borough to provide essential support that helps older people live safely and independently.

Key responsibilities

• Drive between clients’ homes within Bromley.
• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting.
• Support medication administration and meal preparation.
• Carry out light domestic tasks and offer companionship.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor client wellbeing and report changes.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to work some weekends on a rota.
• Good spoken English.
• Reliability, kindness and a good attitude.
