Community Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Community Development Manager to lead the Models of Care Programme for a fast‑growing care‑sector organisation in Warrington. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will combine strategic analysis with hands‑on business development to reshape the company’s community offering during a fixed‑term maternity cover.

Key responsibilities

• Own and advance Phase 1 Opportunity Screening assessments across all target markets using a stage‑gated framework.
• Gather and synthesise local population, demographic, demand and commissioner data to inform community‑area opportunity analysis.
• Manage the client journey, analysing enquiry‑to‑admission conversion rates and identifying improvement areas.
• Conduct a comprehensive commissioner audit, maintain existing relationships and lead future engagement strategies.
• Lead project‑management and delivery of related initiatives, coordinating with support services to ensure collaboration and success.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, community development or partnership roles within the care or health‑social sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret demographic and market data.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, capable of working independently without a supporting team.
• Detail‑oriented and results‑driven, with a track record of delivering projects in competitive markets.
