Community Development Officer

As a Community Development Officer you will design and deliver projects that support vulnerable and under‑represented residents, helping them access opportunities, build relationships and feel part of their local community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver community‑based projects that address local needs.
• Support vulnerable and under‑represented groups to access services and opportunities.
• Facilitate relationship‑building activities that strengthen community cohesion.
• Promote Asset‑Based Community Development principles in all initiatives.
• Collaborate with partners, volunteers and residents to maximise impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering community‑based projects.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage workload flexibly.
• Knowledge of good practice in community development, especially Asset‑Based approaches.
• Commitment to inclusive, diverse community engagement.
