Community Manager – Member Engagement & Events

About the role

Join a fast‑growing organisation at the heart of Cambridge’s innovation ecosystem as a Community Manager. You will be the friendly face of the centre, driving member engagement, coordinating high‑profile visits and delivering memorable events for a vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, handling daily correspondence with professionalism and warmth.
• Write and edit copy for newsletters, event invitations and member updates.
• Plan, promote and execute a diverse event calendar, from monthly socials to large tech conferences.
• Approach and brief industry speakers, manage logistics and ensure seamless event delivery.
• Coordinate inbound requests for tours and conference bookings, providing a best‑in‑class experience for VIPs and non‑members.
• Maintain attendee data and generate post‑event reports using CRM systems and Eventbrite.
• Collaborate with catering, administration and marketing teams to guarantee flawless execution.

Required profile

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a polished, patient demeanor.
• Confidence to engage high‑profile speakers, tech founders and corporate partners.
• Strong time‑management ability to juggle multiple events and priorities.
• Proven experience in community management, high‑level administration or corporate events.
