About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join one of our district nursing teams in the Tweeddale locality. The role is community‑focused, allowing you to support patients in their own homes while delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care as part of a dynamic and motivated District Nursing Service.
Key responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing interventions to patients in their own homes.
- Deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care to the district nursing caseload.
- Assess patient needs, develop and review individual care plans.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery across neighbouring localities.
Required profile
- Registered with the NMC as a qualified Nurse.
- Leadership experience, strong communication and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, adaptable approach.
- Full driving licence with flexibility to travel across neighbouring localities.
- Community nursing experience is desirable but not essential.
