About the role
Reed is seeking compassionate Community Support Workers to join its team in Cambridge and nearby areas. You will help individuals live independently by providing person‑centred assistance in their homes and within the community.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily living activities such as personal care, meals and household tasks.
- Encourage independence and develop life‑skills through tailored activities.
- Provide emotional companionship and assist with appointments, education, employment and social outings.
- Follow person‑centred support plans and maintain accurate records.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity and positive outcomes for each person.
Required profile
- Caring, positive and compassionate attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, professionalism and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.
