About the role
JCB is seeking a Company Doctor to join its in‑house Occupational Health Department. Working four days a week, you will play a central role in supporting the health, wellbeing and productivity of the workforce across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct medical assessments and occupational health evaluations for employees.
- Advise management, HR and Health & Safety on sickness absence, fitness for work, rehabilitation and redeployment.
- Identify and address emerging health trends in the workplace.
- Provide medical care, support emergencies and assist with on‑call duties.
- Support proactive health initiatives and promote employee wellbeing.
Required profile
- Qualified General Practitioner with MRCGP and recent primary care experience.
- Occupational Medicine qualification or progress towards one (e.g., Diploma, AFOM/MFOM).
- Experience in travel medicine.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to work across multiple sites.
- Passion for employee wellbeing and proactive health promotion.
