Compensation & Benefits Director – Global Reward Strategy

About the role

We are partnering with a global organisation to appoint a Compensation & Benefits Director who will design, govern and evolve reward frameworks across multiple international markets. Reporting to global HR leadership, you will own the end‑to‑end global reward agenda and ensure alignment with business strategy and talent priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global compensation strategy, including job architecture, grading frameworks, benchmarking and pay structures across diverse geographies.
• Design and govern short‑ and long‑term incentive plans, covering executive and leadership reward frameworks.
• Oversee the global benefits strategy, balancing consistency with local market relevance and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the authority on reward governance, policy and compliance, ensuring pay equity, transparency and regulatory alignment.
• Partner with regional HR leaders to support local implementation while maintaining global standards.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, benchmarking providers and benefits partners.
• Provide high‑quality reward insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the board.

Required profile

• Proven global C&B leadership experience in a complex, multinational environment.
• Ownership of multi‑country reward frameworks, ideally across EMEA, Americas and APAC.
• Strong technical depth across base pay, incentives, executive compensation and benefits.
• Experience operating in regulated environments with a solid understanding of governance and compliance.
• Confidence to influence at executive level with a pragmatic, commercially‑grounded approach.
• Track record of balancing global consistency with local market realities.
