Competitions Delivery Executive (Administrator)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Competitions Delivery Executive to join the team on a minimum six‑month contract. The role is focused on providing administrative support for funding and assessment programmes, ensuring smooth processes and accurate record‑keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across funding and assessment activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the management of applications, invoicing, and related documentation.
• Monitor project setup, liaise with successful applicants, and collect required information.
• Prepare and issue funding documentation in line with internal procedures.
• Review and process bank account and project information according to guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems to reflect project progress.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support programme delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fast‑paced administrative, operational or customer‑focused environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong data management abilities.
• Proactive, problem‑solving approach.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Experience in programme administration, grants, funding, research or the public sector is advantageous.

• Salary of £30,895 per annum.
• Hybrid working arrangement – one day per week in the office, the rest remote.
