CompEx Qualified Electrician – Glasgow

About the role

We are seeking a CompEx qualified electrician to join a leading infrastructure services business operating across Scotland. The role involves travelling to commercial and industrial sites, primarily fuel retail and forecourt locations, to perform electrical inspections, maintenance and testing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and preventative maintenance on client sites.
• Produce test certifications, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to meet audit and health‑and‑safety requirements.
• Communicate progress and findings with customers, engineers and management.
• Work independently while maintaining strong teamwork and professional representation of the business.
• Travel regionally, including occasional overnight stays.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a CompEx 07‑08 certification (current or lapsed) or willingness to develop it.
• Experience in commercial/industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in fuel‑retail environments.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel across Scotland and attend client sites as required.
