Complex SEN Tutor

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Complex SEN Tutor to deliver 1:1 support for primary and secondary pupils across Havering. You will provide tailored English and Maths sessions, as well as specialised SEN interventions for learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties or other additional needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in English and Maths.
• Provide SEN support for pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Engage pupils who are out of mainstream education or in alternative provision, building confidence and academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records of sessions and progress reports.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS, PGCE, SEN qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and complex needs.
• Experience teaching or tutoring English and Maths.
• Minimum six months’ experience in a UK educational setting.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS.
