Compliance and Quality Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Compliance and Quality Technician to join our technical team supporting a portfolio of premium consumer food products sold worldwide. The role offers a blend of complaint management, product testing coordination and continuous improvement within a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints from receipt through to resolution.
• Conduct investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing partners and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor complaint trends and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Respond to technical queries from customers and internal departments.
• Coordinate product testing programmes with external laboratories.
• Review testing results, identify trends and produce KPI reports.
• Support product quality, compliance and food‑safety activities.
• Assist with technical documentation and compliance administration.
• Support supplier quality and performance initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 12 months’ experience in a food‑manufacturing quality, technical or compliance environment.
• Experience of complaint investigations, non‑conformances or root‑cause analysis.
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP and food‑safety principles.
• Strong organisational, communication and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
