Compliance Business Partner

About the role

We are partnering with an international insurance MGA to appoint a Compliance Business Partner who will support the development of governance and regulatory oversight. The role is highly visible, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide pragmatic, commercially‑focused compliance advice across a complex regulatory environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for regulatory and governance queries across the business.
• Provide clear, practical, and commercially focused compliance guidance to business stakeholders and senior management.
• Attend business and governance meetings, delivering updates on regulatory developments, emerging risks and required actions.
• Conduct horizon scanning to identify and assess regulatory developments relevant to the business and the wider insurance market.
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes and support implementation planning across business areas.
• Collaborate with business units to develop and enhance policies, procedures and controls aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Provide compliance input and challenge for new business initiatives, products, operational processes and strategic projects.
• Support the ongoing development and strengthening of governance frameworks and regulatory oversight processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience within a London Market insurance environment (insurer, broker or MGA).
• Demonstrated ability to advise senior stakeholders on regulatory matters.
• Strong understanding of FCA expectations and London Market regulatory framework.
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate regulatory guidance effectively.
