Compliance & Conveyancing Manager (Office Based)

About the role

This permanent, office‑based position supports a fast‑growing property management and auction sales business in Wigan. You will work closely with the property sales team to ensure listings are accurate, deadlines are met, and all regulatory requirements are satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and review legal documents, including Land Registry information, before listings are published.
• Verify buyer identities using appropriate software and manage AML requirements such as proof of source of funds.
• Handle day‑to‑day buyer queries related to auction listings.
• Prepare and issue the memorandum of sale after each auction.
• Update systems, monitor and track the conveyancing process to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate progress to solicitors, vendors and buyers throughout the auction and conveyancing stages.
• Assist occasionally with broader property sales tasks and future listing programming.
• Perform other ad‑hoc administrative duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a property sales environment or a conveyancing department of a law firm.
• Thorough understanding of AML requirements related to property transactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong communication skills with an impeccable attendance and punctuality record.
