Compliance Manager – Financial Services (Hybrid)

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers an experienced Compliance Manager the chance to support a growing financial services business. Working hybrid (four days in the office, one day remote), you will help maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance, governance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies, procedures and frameworks.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.
• Conduct compliance monitoring reviews, file reviews and thematic assessments.
• Provide guidance on FCA requirements and regulatory standards.
• Support regulatory reporting activities and manage complaints in line with expectations.
• Complete risk assessments and recommend mitigation actions.
• Investigate breaches and support corrective actions.
• Produce compliance reports, MI and updates for senior stakeholders.
• Deliver compliance training and promote a strong compliance culture.

Required profile

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (DipPFS, DipFA or equivalent) or similar qualification.
• Proven experience in a Compliance Manager, Senior Compliance Officer or similar role within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations and financial advice standards.
• Experience conducting file reviews, monitoring activity and risk assessments.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and provide practical solutions.
