Compliance Manager (Part Time – Insurance)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join a fast‑growing, digital‑first insurance intermediary on a part‑time basis. This senior, standalone position offers full ownership of the compliance function and works closely with senior leadership to embed robust regulatory processes across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the compliance and regulatory framework for the organisation.
• Ensure ongoing adherence to FCA requirements, including ICOBS, Consumer Duty, SYSC and PRIN.
• Build, maintain and deliver the compliance monitoring programme.
• Review and approve financial promotions and oversee complaints handling.
• Support product governance, new product launches and distribution initiatives from a compliance perspective.
• Liaise with insurers, partners and regulatory bodies as required.
• Develop and enhance compliance policies, procedures and controls.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or Head of Compliance.
• Strong background in the insurance sector, preferably within a broker or intermediary environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of FCA regulations such as ICOBS, SYSC, PRIN and Consumer Duty.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence senior stakeholders.
