Compliance Officer – Construction & Property

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer with a background in construction and property to join our team in Warrington. You will help deliver a robust compliance management framework across maintenance activities and construction projects, working closely with operational, commercial, procurement, health & safety and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of the subcontractor compliance framework across all business areas.
• Produce accurate compliance reports, management information and data analysis, developing dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and pre‑qualification, ensuring all insurances, company information and competency evidence are obtained, verified and maintained.
• Carry out compliance audits, monitoring exercises and risk due‑diligence, identifying non‑compliance and supporting corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operational, Procurement and H&S teams to maintain consistent supply‑chain governance.
• Assist in implementing performance management systems, data storage solutions and data‑driven operational improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in compliance, risk management or supply chain (e.g., ICA, IRM, CIPS) – preferred.
• Proven experience in compliance, risk management, governance or supply‑chain compliance within the construction/property sector.
• Experience monitoring subcontractor performance, analysing complex data and producing management information.
• Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and related compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West.
