Compliance & Operations Intern

About the role

Falcon Investment Management, a leading alternative investment fund manager in Mayfair, is seeking motivated interns to support its Compliance and Operations teams. Working closely with the Head of Compliance/MLRO, you will gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced hedge‑fund environment while contributing to real‑world projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) processes, including client due diligence and enhanced due diligence during onboarding.
• Support ongoing monitoring of existing clients and transaction activity across multiple asset classes.
• Help investigate and resolve queries from clients, brokers, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the administration and upkeep of internal and external compliance policies and procedures.
• Participate in ad‑hoc compliance monitoring tasks and business‑control effectiveness reviews.
• Provide support on cross‑functional projects within the middle‑office operations team.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM discipline (not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of financial services, compliance principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
