Compliance Partner – Financial Services

About the role

This position offers a dynamic compliance partnership within a leading financial advice network. You will oversee appointed representative (AR) firms, moving beyond routine file checks to provide firm‑level risk oversight, governance review and strategic guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal panel of AR firms, acting as the primary compliance contact.
• Conduct on‑site supervision visits and remote assessments to evaluate firm‑level risk, governance structures and control frameworks.
• Identify gaps, recommend improvements and coach senior firm personnel on compliance best practices.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with firm principals and advisers.
• Prepare and present findings, influencing firms to remediate issues and enhance their compliance posture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, regulatory supervision or risk management within financial services.
• Ability to exercise independent judgement and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on governance and control assessment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

What we offer

• £55,000 base salary plus a £6,000 car allowance.
• Performance bonus typically 10‑20% of base salary.
