Compliance & Risk Manager

About the role

We are partnering with a leading alternative asset manager that is scaling rapidly. The firm seeks an experienced Compliance & Risk Manager to own and develop its compliance and risk function, reporting directly to the C‑suite.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the compliance monitoring programme.
• Collaborate with business lines and external advisors to build a robust compliance framework supporting growth.
• Assist on financial crime matters, including AML and KYC processes.
• Liaise with regulators such as the FCA and SEC as required.
• Develop and embed the firm’s overall risk framework.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a compliance generalist role within an FCA‑regulated environment or a consultancy serving FCA‑regulated firms.
• Demonstrated ability to engage confidently with regulators and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in fund finance, private credit or alternative investments is highly desirable.
