About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Havering. The role involves delivering engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5 for experienced candidates. You will help students develop strong digital and computational skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Create engaging and innovative learning resources.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
• Support students in achieving their full academic potential.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
